Our beautiful Bluebell, Marjorie, wondered into our sanctuary on 21st May 2020.

Marjorie is a very wise, independent lady who is very comical and stubborn at times. Her favourite treats are mealworms, and she often tries to chase her friends off so she can have them all to herself. She is definitely the boss.

Elsie is a very happy, confident and comical little lady. She is loving her life and takes everything in her stride. She thoroughly enjoys playing with her friends, exploring the sanctuary grounds and scratching for worms and grubs.

She is often found trying to wonder into the horse’s field, pecking at left over food that the horses may have dropped at breakfast.

Ethel is a quiet but confident lady. She happily enjoys her newfound freedom with her friends and is never too far away from them. She loves exploring and really enjoys her food.

Penny is an explorer and is often found roaming on the other side of the sanctuary away from her friends. We found her at the bottom of our track once chatting to our ponies, she lives right at the top of the track!

She is another chick that loves her freedom and quite often isn’t ready for bedtime.
