Bailey is our gentle giant, standing at 16 hands tall. He has stunning white fur and was initially bred to be used for showjumping but at an early age it was evident that his bone formation would never allow him to be ridden, jump or compete.

In 2008, at the age of 4, our founder Susie stepped in to secure his fate and offer him a loving long-term home where he would be loved, and his physical and emotional healing would be an ongoing priority.

During his time at our sanctuary, Bailey has enjoyed numerous holistic therapies to help and support him including reiki healing, bio chemistry, herbal medicine, cranial sacral, bowen, McTimmony chiropractor and more.

He is a calm, gentle and peaceful horse and is a natural healer who has always been drawn to adults and children who need support themselves. He is often seen resting his head on visitors’ shoulders, lovingly reassuring them that life will get better. He is such a caring soul.

Bailey loves cuddles and grooms from his human and horse friends and then loves nothing more than a good roll in the mud! He is very special, and we love him dearly.
